Richard Patrick Tracey, JP (8 February 1943 – 19 March 2020), was a British Conservative Party politician, journalist and news presenter.[1] He was the Member of Parliament for Surbiton from 1983 to 1997, and served as Minister for Sport between 1985 and 1987. He later became a Member of the London Assembly, in which he represented the constituency of Merton and Wandsworth, from 2008 to 2016, when he retired. He was the Deputy Leader of the London Assembly's Conservative group.
